In pills--just passes on through. My only example is glucosamine, which I thought was stupid. With pills, I noticed a little more fluid in my knuckles after about 8 weeks. With liquid, in less than 2 weeks i had joints popping everywhere. nearly a miracle. 18 years ago 11/30/2006 11:48am EST dean moriarty wrote:No. The pills suck. The liquid form is a little more expensive but it works a LOT better.you guys are nuts...the liquid is much cheaper if you compare it by dose...i have paid anywhere from 6-10 bucks for a pint bottle that contains 90 doses. there is no way in hell you can get 3 months worth of iron pills for that price.and yes, with pills the absorption is much worse. i always tell my athletes that if they need to take iron, they should take liquid. 18 years ago 11/30/2006 12:06pm EST the iron supplement i have is in soft gel form and includes vit. c, folic acid, b12, & liver fractions to increase absorbtion...also, i try to take the supplement when i'm not eating nuts, chocolate, spinach (especially cooked), dairy, coffee, and/or tea...foods high in oxalic acid, calcium, and zinc can all decrease the amount of iron you actually absorb... 18 years ago 12/02/2006 12:03am EST The best iron is Venofer, via introvenous drip.
