With Viagra you are looking at about 4-6 hours, while with cialis you are talking about 36 hours of increased ability. Cialis is a few more bucks a pill more expensive though. You are looking around 10-12 bucks a pill though (some insurances do cover about 6 pills/month though). Both can take about an hour before they work as well. Levitra is suppossed to be quicker. Start off with viagra (vitamin V) and see how it works. #4 Joined Apr 15, 2000 Messages 17,984 Reaction score 1,477 I read somewhere that these ED meds lower blood pressure. I am trying to get my insurance company to drop the hyzaar and put me on low-dose Cialis! #5 Dave, that is how they were developed. They started out as antihypertensives and some observant clinicians noticed that the patients didn't want to give the drugs back. BTW, unless you are intolerant to an ACE inhibitor (i.e. lisinopril, ramipril), I'd see if I couldn't get my doctor to switch me to one (lisinopril/HCTZ 90 days = $10 without insurance), instead of hyzaar (losartan/HCTZ) simply b/c of cost. They don't work the exact same way, but there isn't evidence to suggest that the losartan is better than lisinopril. #6 Joined Nov 9, 2005 Messages 2,274 Reaction score 0 Location middleriver, md I like the mouth or a hand...... #7 #8 Joined Sep 25, 2000 Messages 4,533 Reaction score 2 Location Monkton, Md.
