As a woman who was also a victim of almost every side effect of Depo-Provera, provided by a Depo- pushing healthcare provider, I can sympathize with you. Thankfully, I am now rid of him, as well as the chemical birth control that I have been convinced to destroy my body with for the past 8 years of my life. I am also finally rid of the side effects of Depo-Provera, except for the extreme weight gain, which I am working on. Depo-Provera should be outlawed and also any man who wants to have intimate relations with me needs to use a condom, because I am done absolving men of their reproductive responsibility. And I don't care if they can't feel it because they'll feel it even less if I won't even be with them!

I just don't get the business with the 13 women. If it has to be those specific women, then Janine can get a shot of Depo-Provera (or a tubal ligation) at the right time and the plan is off. Why does Pete buy it so readily? OK, because that's the story, and I guess we are supposed to think he is gullible, but still.

The depo provera shot is not recommended for breastfeeding moms. In fact, the only recommended birth control is progesterone only because it can severely hurt your supply. Maybe you could have given her an IUD? Also, pumping does not keep up the supply like actually nursing. (I have breastfed 6 kiddos and have been trained as a bf counselor.) Also, if you really believe breast milk is best, it would be very sad for most breastfeeding mom's to leak all over the shower.
I loved the adult nursing part of this though. It was beautiful.
