Re: Green Promethazine.is codeine in it? its been my experience that the green syrup contains solely promethazine while the purple syrup contains 6.25mg of promethazine and between 5-10 mg of codeine in 5mLs. i've seen the stuff from different manufacturers, and it doesnt change purple is the only one that contains codeine.
