You write so well, getting straight to the point and telling the story earnestly. But most of all, I really respect your message about what makes a man and what doesn't. Bitterness and hatred can be as infectious and damaging as staph infection. The difference is with a staph infection the sick person can see the need to heal and overcome.

Great story and I enjoyed it. But I think you ended the story just a bit too soon and should have had an epilogue. In the epilogue you would tell of Brock's life after losing his job for being a sexual predator and how his love life in now nil because the knife attack by Cindy had lead to having to surgically remove his penis and testicles from a massive flesh eating staph infection.

The man I love and hope to marry is currently in the hospital. Six weeks ago he was in a terrible car crash. Among his many injuries, glass shards were embedded in both of his eyes. This story made me angry about the misinformation. Mi Lee was right. She and her Romeo are both to blame. Maybe Romeo should have to surrender one eye as well.
