Is gabapentin bad for dogs — Customer: My dog currently takes 2 x 100mg of gabapentin at bedtime for his night time anxiety. My friends dog had a really bad day at daycare and is showing signs of bad anxiety and isn t settling. We tried to call our vet (we see the same one) but the after hours isn t getting back to us. Would it be ok to give her dog 1 of the gabapentin. Refrigerating the gabapentin depends on the vet s advice. If the vet has suggested liquid or suspension, it needs to be refrigerated, but oral tablets or capsules are not often refrigerated. Does Gabapentin Go Bad? Does liquid gabapentin go bad if not refrigerated? Gabapentin is not getting worse for dogs, even if you leave it out of the fridge.
